At Shakti we are striving to continue to develope a safe and respectful workplace. In the previous year we have taken several steps to support our staff with regards to psychological and emotional wellness and we will continue to build upon that in the coming years.
If you or anyone at Shakti is experiencing challenges related to harrassment, psychological or emotional unwellness or another stresfull event please do not hesitate to contact the Human Resources Department.

Northern Society for Domestic Peace - The Northern Society for Domestic Peace is dedicated to developing, delivering and supporting programs that provide opportunities for individuals and families to strengthen their relationship and the quality of their lives by fostering respect, challenging violence and promoting health and self determination.
This year Shakti will be resourcing the NSDP for education and training on workplace harrassment.

Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
EFAP provides mental health counseling, financial counseling, trauma support, substance abuse counseling and various other forms of psychological support. Support is confidential and available through either the phone, virtual meetings or in person sessions.
